Winter is almost upon us once again. It has been relatively quiet on the arabian front as we creep ever closer to June. Roshan continues to do us proud, taking home several prizes at the autumn series of breed shows including a few Reserve Championships at The Main Event. We will also have some new photos to share in late June. The Thoroughbreds on the other hand, are starting to heat up. Relativity's first born by Mossman, Second Effort has shown considerable sprinting ability in Victoria. He placed second first two starts and after a short spell, broke his maiden status with a win over 1200m. Autumn Dash, out of our well known matriarch Fappiano's Girl, has inherited her mother's impressive physique and clearly a degree of her sprinting prowess by winning her first start over 1100m at Strathalbyn by several lengths. On the same day Crocman, a Danbird gelding out of the half sister to Fox Lake (Molly or Me) won only his second start by several lengths over 1200m. Fappiano's Lad has recently trialled in Sydney and is due to make a return to the track. |
