At the Stud |

After a successful yearling sale, life has settled back to a normal pace on the farm. The last few months have been a busy time weaning and doing groundwork with the youngstock. On the Arabian front, Pilgrims Express (Avondale Elegant x Autumn Fire) has recently been purchased for endurance. We wish his new owner every success as he is a lovely forward moving gelding with a very calm temperament. Greatheart has also returned home for a much needed spell. We have also seen many LHPC bred racehorses return to the track for a successful autumn campaign including Second Effort in Melbourne and Shady Street in Darwin. We look forward to reporting more success stories as the second half of the year rolls on. |
