Hawkie Star (HK) (Dangerous x Bravitian) placed third (photo) in his second start over 1200m at Sha Tin on 16 April.  Hawkie Star showed an excellent turn of foot once on the straight to make up several lengths and narrowly miss out on a quinella placing.

Vainsky (Keltrice x Western Zip) scored a brilliant 2 length win at Morphettville on 9 April over 1100m.

Opononi (Dolphin Street x Brave Deed) placed third in a strong field at Morphettville on 9 April over 1050m.

Hawkie Star (HK) (Dangerous x Bravitian) placed second in his first start in Hong Kong (Sha Tin) under the watchful eye of David Hayes on 3 April.  Ridden by C Williams, Hawkie Star ran home strongly over 1200m.

MARCH 2005

Military Tattoo (Military Plume x Fiery Wonder) finished strongly placing second over 1200m on 31 March in Port Lincoln.

Opononi (Dolphin Street x Brave Deed) won her 2nd start with blistering speed by an easy 5 lengths at Cheltenham on 30 March over 1000m.

Fox Lake (Shovhog x Round Lake) won his first metropolitan start in Sydney, the Safilo Eyewear Handicap over 1400m on 30 March.  Fox Lake drew wide (barrier 15) and led all the way to claim victory!

Vainsky (Keltrice x Western Zip) put in a strong finish at Cheltenham on 30 March over 1265m.

Tiara Dane (Nothin Leica Dane x Bravitian) placed 4th in her second metropolitan start over 1310m at Cheltenham on 19 March.

Military Tattoo (Military Plume x Fiery Wonder) placed third on 29 January over 1400m at Penong

Relativity (Geiger Counter x Western Zip) was literally pipped by the flair of a nostril on 22 January at Victoria Park in her first start back this prep.  She was narrowly beaten over the 1000m by top SA sprinting mare Maybe McLaren. 

Bucephalus (Jeune x Artistic Belle) won over 1800m on 21 January in Clare, South Australia. 

Bucephalus (Jeune x Artistic Belle) ran home fourth over 1600m at Strathalbyn on 16 January.

Artistic Style (Perugino x Madam Hostess) placed third on 16 January in Kyneton over 1200m.  Although she ran strongly throughout, she was successfully contested in the last 100m.

Bellitian (Bellotto x Bravitian) won on 8 January in Ceduna over 1200m making trainer Herbert Oats proud - his third win in a row since returning from a spell.

Military Tattoo (Military Plume x Fiery Wonder) placed third on 8 January over 1000m at Ceduna.

Bucephalus (Jeune x Artistic Belle) placed third on 3 January over 1600m at Strathalbyn.

Artistic Style (Perugino x Madam Hostess) placed second on 1 January over 1200m.

DECEMBER 2004

Bellitian (Bellotto x Bravitian) won over 1000m in a quality field at Port Lincoln on 29 December.  His first real test to date and passed with flying colours!

Artistic Style (Perugino x Madam Hostess) placed second on 26 December over 1200m at Moe.

Bucephalus (Jeune x Artistic Belle) placed second at Morphettville on 22 December over 1600m.

Vainsky (Keltrice x Western Zip) placed fifth at Ballarat over 1200m on 12 December.  The odds on favourite came storming home however his run was left too late to pick up a minor.

Bellitian (Bellotto x Bravitian) won his maiden over 1000m by an easy 5 lengths on 11 December at Ceduna.

NOVEMBER 2004

Vainsky (Keltrice x Western Zip) has continued his winning streak on 17 November by picking a 4 length win in Ballarat over 1100m.

Bucephalus (Jeune x Artistic Belle) placed fourth on 10 November over 2200m at Murray Bridge.  His second start over this distance - Bucephalus fought home strongly.

OCTOBER 2004

Vainsky (Keltrice x Western Zip) won his first Metropolitan race on 30 October at Morphettville over 1100m.

Fox Lake (Shovhog x Round Lake) made an impressive debut on 10 October placing second over 1000m in his 3yo maiden in Canberra.  Like his mother, this boy will only improve with time!

Vainsky (Keltrice x Western Zip) placed second over 1050m at Balaklava on 6 October, narrowly beating his sister Relativity in his first start back from the spelling paddock.

Relativity (Geiger Counter x Western Zip) was pipped for third place over 1050m at Balaklava on 6 October by her younger brother Vainsky!

Bucephalus (Jeune x Artistic Belle) placed third over 1600m on 6 October at Balaklava.

Perfect Tone (Flying Spur x Canned Music) placed second over 1400m at Wangaratta on 23 August.

Opononi (Dolphin Street x Brave Deed) stormed home to win her first barrier trial (688m) by 1.5 lengths on 26 July. Trained by David Balfour, this filly is one to keep an eye on in the future.

MAY 2004

Viscay Star (Danzig Connection x Whilodge) had his 8th win on 29 May at Newcastle over 1300m, the odds on favourite narrowly beating the field.

Brains Trust (Last Tycoon x Fappiano's Girl) placed second on 8 May at Rosehill over 1400m and again on 15 May over 1200m at Randwick.  Brains Trust was beaten narrowly on both occasions after very honest runs.

Vainsky (Keltrice x Western Zip) placed fourth on 8 May over 1200m at Moonee Valley.  Not a bad place considering he disposed of his rider and completed half a lap of the course before being cleared to start the race.

Relativity (Geiger Counter x Western Zip), was pipped by a nose at Morphettville on 1 May to place second over 1050m in the Hilton Handicap.

APRIL 2004

Viscay Star (Danzig Connection x Whilodge), notched another metropolitan win on his belt on 24 April at Doomben.  This win, his 7th, was over 1350m.

Brains Trust (Last Tycoon x Fappiano's Girl) comfortably won his third start, a 2YO C&G Handicap at Canterbury on 21 April over 1200m. Trained by Clarry Conners at Warwick Farm, Brains Trust is one to watch!

Relativity (Geiger Counter x Western Zip), won again on 17 April at Cheltenham over 1000m.

Viscay Star (Danzig Connection x Whilodge) placed third on 12 April over 1400m at Eagle Farm in the Young Members Handicap.

Vainsky (Keltrice x Western Zip) won his 3yo maiden in convincing style (7 lengths) on 7 April at Murray Bridge over 1000m. Trained by Philip Stokes, Vainsky is the latest winner out of broodmare Western Zip.

Relativity (Geiger Counter x Western Zip), trained by David Jolly, stormed home to win by 3 lengths on 28 February over 1200m at Morphettville in a field of 11. On 7 February she picked up a third over 1050m at Morphettville. After being boxed on the rails at the start of the straight she came thundering home to pick up third place in her first open start. 

Viscay Star (Danzig Connection x Whilodge), prepared by Gerald Ryan, picked up another metropolitan win in the Jamie Charman Handicap at Doomben on Saturday, 7 February over 1200m.

JANUARY 2004

Relativity (Geiger Counter x Western Zip), trained by David Jolly, had her second win on 26 January over 1000m at Murray Bridge. Coming from mid field she galloped down the leaders to win by a head. 

Viscay Star (Danzig Connection x Whilodge) had his first start back on 17 January at Doomben over 1200m. Unfortunately the quagmire like conditions did not favour him and missed out on a placing after trying to sprint home.
